Okay gang, what's up with this event? Maybe we should review and then re-check our schedules.
This started as a two day event, but expensive hotels killed that concept. It then became a one day event, with the majority picking Saturday and the minority picking Sunday. The Sunday people that couldn't go on Saturday offered to do something on Sunday anyway. It then became two seperate events with the need for two leaders. Only one leader is available (thanks Scott) and that is on Sunday, the day with the fewest votes. I think this might have alienated the Saturday people who were the overwhelming majority. As I see it, we have a couple of choices.
1. Those who voted for Saturday could re-check their schedules and let us all know if they could go on Sunday, even though it is not the prefered day.
2. Someone from the Saturday group could step up and agree to lead the tour. Don't be shy. All you really need is a map and one of the proposed routes that the members have already suggested. I'm sure that some of our NH members could work with you over the phone before Saturday to help you prepare the details of the trip. I would do it, but I'm a Sunday person.
I think that all the interested folks should probably indicate if they are still interested one way or another. I seem to remember about 20 people voted on this poll, but now only a few are posting. Time is running out. It is this weekend!
I'll start. On Saturday I am now committed to the BMW autocross. I've done too many mods to the car to not test it this weekend. I am up for the Sunday tour. I know many people don't want to be out late on Sunday, but it seems we can control that by just deciding when it is time to go home.
