Out of state vehicles cannot be cited for stuff like tint because it may be legal in the jurisdiction it is registered in. For example, who would the state be to tell the owner of a vehicle registered in Texas where tint is legal, that he cannot drive it in MA or other state?

That being said, if someone tries to usurp the law by registering out of state when they really live here, we have a means to deal with them. You have a 30 day window to register the car here upon moving to the state.

Don't get too happy, Ray. If the cop is either an a-hole or if you piss him off and give him a reason to be an a-hole, he still has the option of writing the citation for the tints and then you will have to return to deal with the court system to get it taken care of.

boo i guess i'll just hope the cop is dazing off seeing a nice car go by and wont think twice

yep, we did. only s2k's there were ryan and myself i stayed to talk for 30 minutes, and ryan was chatting with some friends we know

oh, and we were trying to get people to buy s2k's to make our community bigger

Ryan was pulling some salesmen crap on some chick who wouldn't budge in buying a s2k unless it was in cash
