Default where you mount your gps?

i just got me a garmin nuvi 200 and was wondering where you guys mount your gps at? i think i know where i want to mount it, but wanted to see other ideas first let's see the clean set up!!

right next to the heater controls over the radio on a modifry bracket which can be bought here

its the best spot in the car for it mine is hardwired with the wire coming thru the heater vent just below the bracket.

NICCEE i may have to just go buy that instead of using the mounting kit the garmin provides.

Yea it rotates on a ball. Either rotate or just unclip and use with your hands since the passenger is not driving.

Here is mine, but keep in mind this is not completed yet.

I fudged up the edges a bit when I got too aggressive, but this will give you the idea of my setup. The leather shop can fix the edges for me which will make it look a lot better for less than $100 which is one option. Buutttt, I was discussing it with darkknight1999 and I think I am going to strip all the vinyl off the dash, mold in aftermarket gauges around the vents and a V1 display above the speedo and make the screen molded right into the dash with no need for a bezel at all. It will be a lot more work, but it will be baller when done.

Anyway, this is what I sue for GPS now:
