I wonder how many horsepower a dead rat gets you.

A small screen placed over the air intake hose will prevent large creatures from getting in but still allow good air flow. We have problems with furry critters where we live (out in the boonies) and we have made this "mod" on most of our vehicles. It does not even show if you do it right It's an especially good idea to do this over the winter months if your car is not being driven every day or on a regular basis.

If Ryan's formula also holds true for cats, they'd increase your horsepower a lot more due to their increased mass. Make sure your cat is really cold for the best gains.
