Well in defense of Cthree on this one. The server is supposedly located at his home and he does maint on his days off from work. So knowing that its understandable. But its still irritating when its done during the time when most of us are active on here vs an early am hour. The other thing is its saturday it rainy in Ne and were all coopped up so our thoughts are to participate in our little virtual community and when that is compromised in addition to the rain we all get just a tad irritated.

I can understand this. But on the other hand, most of us pay for using the service, making it a business and a customer service issue to put the site down during prime time when people have paid for it's use.

Was there an annoncement the site was going to be down? That is always nice as we can plan our time better.

Levi I looked at the announcements thread and no its not mentioned. He has been putting the system offline without notice so that makes it even more irritating. He did however explain what the maint was after the fact Explanation of system downtime

Edit I read wrong his announcement was posted in the early Am where most of us would not have seen it anyhow.
