At some point in the future you won't care about a few paint chips.
really trust me. a few kids and a few ER visits, maybe watching an EKG for a couple hours, none of that will matter.
if not try Lorazipam or xanax. either way it ain't worth the battle or the worry.

It's tough to let someone drive the car, but for the good drivers, I usually give them a benefit of a doubt. However, if you come back with scratches, dings or whatever, it then shows me they don't have the same respect/care for the car, so I won't let them drive it afterwards telling them I gave them I took a chance and you didn't come through. Unless of course, that is if he/she already has a car and has no real need to drive the S, if there is a real need, it gets a lot trickier. It is especially hard letting people who have dings and scratches all over their car drive yours, because their car already tells me, they don't know or care about cars the way you would.

less than 3 hours after writing this yesterday I was in the UMass trauma center with Barbara. She took a fall on her bicycle, whacked her head and got knocked out cold. She's OK now but pretty beat up.
screw the paint chips. I'm sure it would take less than a second if you ever had to truly make a choice between your wife and the car.

Give Barb our best. Hope she feels better soon.
