Weird...email happenings.
OK, maybe one of you can answer an email question.
I use @verizon.com for my email address. I use Thunderbird for my email program, though on occasion, I use the verizon.com web site to access home email from work etc.
I set up my new netbook (which I'm very happy with) with the thunderbird email. Last night I was using it, went through the email and deleted all but two emails.
Today when I signed on my Verizon.com email from work, the only emails showing were the two I had not deleted. Generally speaking what I do with my Thunderbird email at home does not affect the web email, so the email stays on the Verizon site for about two weeks. I didn't have any important email I wanted to keep, and my home PC likely has the older stuff, but what happened to the emails that usually hang around on the Verizon.com site? Computer gremlins?
Strange. I compared my work email with Thunderbird and verizon.com and no changes there.
There is one setting on Thunderbird asking how long to keep emails on the server, that is set for 14 days....

Huh interesting.

Looks like there maybe a setting that will delete them when you delete them from the Thunderbird mailbox. May even do it with a 14day before delete setting.

Thanks! I'll have to check further. Maybe I have a newer version of Thunderbird email on the netbook vs the PC. I'll double check my settings too.

I found one additional check box that I should have not "checked."
Once again, operator error.
