Default Weekend plans thread

So we have thread like this over in Vintage and everyone posts up their plans and we can all kinda keep up with one another's activities. Sometimes people meet up at the same event. I thought I'd start the same thread here as a way to try to improve or increase involvement in the community.

I was planning on doing some heavy duty fishing this weekend. This summer the weekend weather seemed to be great. I just took a look at the weather for this coming weekend and it looks bad. I hope they are wrong. If the weather stinks, I may stay home and do some vehicle maintenance.

So what's up with you?

Bill, it looks like the Bill and Lainey show around here. Hoping some new folks start posting.

Weekends seem to be very busy of late. I spend some time Saturday AM at the YMCA, and then the afternoon with the grandkids. The granddaughter is starting to "kick us to the curb" so often we are just dropping her off or picking her up at a friend's.

Rick has the usual yard work, and car washing on the schedule. The grandson and I might need to go pumpkin shopping.

Rick's brother is in from FL so we are planning on getting together with him and my sis in law on Saturday night. We always have a good time with them, and the couple from England they travel with. There is a rumor of a clam boil.

Glad to see you both keeping things going around here! I am working all weekend so nothing fun at all planned for me...

If not us, who?

Try the YWCA, you might find the locker rooms more relaxing.

Sophie is getting there too. It's all about the friends. Cameron still loves us.

I'm trying to dodge yard work, but it's either yard work or pay someone.

Do you think that cool harvest festival will be going on during the Fall Crawl behind the beer bar again?

Sounds like good stuff lined up for the weekend. The steamers have been great this year.

I stay out of the men's locker rooms, though I have been known to use a men's restroom if the line is too long at the ladies' room.

We're not much on the steamers, but the rest of the food in a clam boil is good. I'll make sure there is dessert.

Hey Mike!

Bill, come over to the photo thread and post some images. I'm lonely over there and talk to myself a lot. Steal some images from Google or something.

Sat...Karla (my +1) will be off to the Albany NY area for a sewing class.
If the weather is nice I may take a ride in the S up to the Olympic region and check out the foilage.
Sunday is reserved for football watching.

Give our regards to Karla, Levi. The weather forecast in our area is not too good for this coming weekend. I hope you have better weather.
