Check tire pressure and you probably should have your brake pads pulled out inspected and maybe replaced. A seized caliper can make this happen.

You need the water vacuum accessory that sucks up water ahead of the tires...

LOL!!!

Like at an autocross?!?!?

That was sooo entertaining to all of the corner workers that stayed out in the pouring rain!

This car don't need no winding road to get its tails loose in rain! Done the same thing Legal Bill did except I was going straight ! I thought I had a heart attack . No more than 4k rpm for me when it's raining.

Legalbill- How many miles on the SO-2's? Look very closely at the wear bars. If the rears are within 1/16" of the wear bars, stay out of the rain!

My story:
8,000 miles on the rears I was driving 65mph in a mild rain, going straight on a high way that had a truck rutted surface. I'm guessing the tail end started following the truck ruts (not enough water for hydroplaning), because the rear would suddenly shift to one side or the other 6". She was squirrelly down to about 45mph.

When I got home I check the tires, they looked good, pressures were ok. I double checked the treads and had about 1/16" before the wear bars.

A few weeks later I took a right turn doing 15-20mph, no VTEC, not accelerating, but the clutch was engaged. The tires were cold, less than 1 minute on the road, and the turn had a small trickle of water. The rear broke loose, I pushed in the clutch and apparently I over compensated counter, counter-counter and counter-counter-counter steering. It was like I was on the ice.

I was raised on rear drive cars, but this is my first performance LSD equipped RWD. The S requires much more finesse once the tires break loose. I highly recommend some practice time!

i think this is what happened to me too during vtec, except the road was dry & i was driving straight. my rear tires were worn (but not bald), i shifted too quick and i dont think my tires were warm enough (though my engine was!). very scary moment! i'm getting my car realigned tomorrow morning just incase.
