I had "whiner" on a mp62 sc Miata then "sti lyn" on my sti and "vrm psh" on my rs-t.

Vanity plate though makes it easier for other drivers to report you for speeding/reckless driving. Trust me

My plate on the S was TWZTID .. no one ever would mess with me on the highway

i've always wished we had euro style plates with about 16 digits.

Sure, then drive your car to Canada. On the way back into the US, the border agent asks you what your license plate number is. I'd bet he'd trip you up pretty good if you had 16 digits.

I have to say I took a few seconds but rattled off the plate number in the S. Rick had no idea what the plate number was.

I think the border guys like throwing a curve ball. It must get boring in those booths.
