Default use Norton?

i know many use Free Anti Virus Software, but if you use Norton Anti Virus, here's a bargain!

Staples has the 2010 Internet Security on sale for $49.99 with a $40.00 rebate check or Visa card. Your net cost $9.99! I also had a $10.00 coupon for purchases over $40.00 which they allowed me to use.

So I guess they technically paid me to take it out of the store. I like free!

I also use some of the free stuff...wasn't going to renew the Norton this time, but what the heck. This was a bargain.

I don't use anything!

Seriously, I don't. Once a month, I use TrendMicro's HouseCall to scan. Once a year or so, I reformat and reinstall the OS. I've had 2 viruses in the past 12 years of computer ownership.

Trick is, I don't let anyone else on my computer.

Norton installed some unwanted tool bars and a few other things have popped up.

I changed the tool bar view, but I'm pretty sure I was never asked if I wanted those tools bars..

And that's why your wife is having a baby!

My computer (home and work) are virgins. We don't visit nasty sites.

One virus I got at work popped up when I was viewing some pictures on a MSNBC web site... I could not do a darn thing with the computer...The virus was probably lurking in there....

I crashed the one at home once, no idea how.
