Time to do my diff and trans
I have about 13,500 miles and will be changing my diff and trans oil before the 15k mark. This is already my Third year of driving it so I am sure it will need it. I found this cool tool while browsing the JCWhitney catalog at home. For $5.49 it can't be that bad.

OIL SUCTION GUN
All purpose filling and draining unit
Hycar plunger for positive forcing and suction. Has 1-pint capacity by volume. Oil and grease-resistant 11" flexible hose has positive seal. Knurled barrel 11" long x 2-1/4" diameter.
I'll be using this little guy to put in new diff and trans oil. I am putting in Honda Manual Trans oil and LE-607 for the Diff. I only drive this in weather that warrants top down so I am not worried about the cold weather characteristics of LE-607.
I'll post my findings on this little unit in a couple of weeks when I decide to do the oil changes.

Even though it says it resists oil and grease... from what I gather from reading some posts here and what my mechanic tells me, these pumps work great for a while, then the gear lubricants will eventually eat away the seals and it'll leak. If you want to hold on to it for a while, you might want to look into cleaning it up well after using it and possibly hitting the seals with a silicon spray. Just a thought, (and possibly overkill) but I'd prob do it just to be sure.
