hi rpg51. Racetek was great from start to finish. They were recommended by a closer performance garage who only does German cars. Reasonable prices. No good S2000 garages in VT?

None that I am aware of. I don't think there are very many s2ks in Vermont. A few, but not enough to give a mechanic a lot of experience. Truth is the Honda Dealer in West Lebanon NH - about 15 minutes from me, is decent. There is a tech who is into S2ks. So, he gets it. I'll probably do my own VA - maybe this weekend. I have to replace the drivers side window regulator - but that isn't a difficult job from what I can tell so I might do it myself, or have a good local mechanic do it for me. It doesn't require S2k specific experience. My car has really low miles, so I probably won't need a lot of work in the near future. My expectation is that I will start to see clutch release bearing issues just because they seem to dry out with time. If that happens I will definitely want someone else to do the work. My days of pulling transmissions are over.

How low is your mileage? I bought my 2003 with 72k in 2010, so only put around 2500 summer miles per year. Wanted to mention that my DD is also a Mazda, 2018 6. It is also a great car. Did not know you could get the Mazda 3 sedan with 4 wheel drive. That will be my next DD.

My s2k has 24K miles now. I bought it two years ago with 17+K miles. I like this 2020 Mazda 3 AWD I have. Its a great DD. It is surprisingly refined, and comfortable.
