Suspension Setup
What are you guys running for your suspension setups? I was just curious because I wanted to get an idea of what changes I will be expecting when I lower my car. I was planning to lower my car next year. I didnt want to jump into it and not know what Im getting into so I decided to see what you guys are running for your suspension setups. And also how does it affect your handling at higher speeds?

How do you drive your car ??
Do you like to play in the back roads ??
Do you plan to track, or auto-x the car competitively ??
Springs are fine if your are not a aggressive driver , And if you stay with in a 1" drop the stock struts will work fine . If you are aggressive with this setup it you have to be smooth ,specially on a left to right transition of vise versa as the dampers cant control the rebound as easily and can cause some fast snap over steer.
If you can afford it coilovers are the way to go . There are a few on Teins Flex system that I am sure will chime in and others on BC and Bilsteins . On my S I ran Eibach springs alone and regretted it . On my Miata I run Tein SS and love them . I drive them on full stiff and it still rides better than my S did ( And My Miata weighs 800lbs less ) I also have the EDFC controller that lets me change the setup on the fly .
When you are ready for either set up let me know I will try and get you the best price .
I carry
For Springs , TEIN ,COMPTECH,H&R,ESPELIR,RS-R,
For Coilovers , BUDDY CLUB, D2, H&R,JIC,KW VARIANT, TEIN ,ZEAL

Definitely... But it probably wont be til next year though because I start school up next month and I cant really be blowing too much money like I've been doing lately! I like to kick it in the back roads from time to time to have fun but when I decide to change the suspension I want to do it the whole 9 yards and not just half ass you know? So When Im ready I'll definitely let you know and also thanks for the info!

a frt lip for more aero dynamics
Great question Julius
the s2k is an awesome machine out of the box and 99% of the drivers out there can not take full advantage of the factory setup

I dont feel like anything is missing from the factory setup or anything. I was just thinking of getting it lowered for an aggressive look but I dont want it to drastically change the way it handles right now. That is the reason I ask what are the affects of lowering the car. Also I just didnt want to change the springs I was going to change struts and shocks and probably coilovers. Or would it be better if I should just replace the stock springs with lowering springs?
