me - i always buy a pair or two of $20.00 ones - this way if they break or i lose them i don't really care too much - although i've always admired the pair Ben has but they are like $200.00

what's your prefence

 

Cheap I'm rough with my toys, it's only a matter of time before I sit on, step on, walk on or lose em.

 

Mine tend to be more expensive since they're perscription. Ever since I started wearing decent sunglasses all I can say is if I ever start wearing contacts again I'll still go with more expensive sunglasses... I dunno about 200 dollars expensive though.

 

I like my Oakley Ti sunglass because... well... they're Titanium.

 

I definitely prefer expensive sunglasses.
I have found no difference in reliability when you sit on them or back over them. Expensive glasses also don't come when called so they tend to get lost just as easily.
The optics do stand up much better on good glasses but that is assuming aforementioned events hold off long enough for that to matter.

 

I always subscribed to your theory, Steve. I bought cheapies and didn't care if I lost them. Last year I bought a pair of $100 Arnets and I still have them.

I think when you have some more invested in them, you will pay more attention to them and be more careful.

 

I have no choice, very expensive ones...
Perscription + OSHA frame + Safety lenses + PhotogreyX = Costly.
If I wore contacts I would have dozens of cheap sunglasses all over the place, all different styles, but I don't like contacts.

 

I have had my "expensive" Oakleys for 8+ years now. They look as good as they were when new.

 

I go with cheap. I lose them, mis-place them all the time.

Rick was at the point where he would start needed glasses for distance so, we got the ones with the lenses that tint. Not cheap!
