I'm with Ben. I use Raggtopp and have been very satisfied. I can only find it on-line though. I have never seen it in a real store.

I'm about to go wash the car for the first time since I got it...

I recall something being mentioned about a spray for the soft top... what is it and where's the best place to get it?
how do i know that i'm applying too much 303 on the top?

My top is starting to fade in color and just want to know the proper way to clean the soft top. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I buy Raggtop from Modifry. Both the cleaner and the protector are fantastic

For myself I do not follow the instructions. They say spray onto the vinyl and wipe off. When I did this because I was spraying out too much 303 and it would fill up all the small "pores" of the top and then start to run and I would have a mess. Now I just spray a very generous amount onto a microfiber and rub it in/around.

I'm not sure how much I use, but I can say this, I'm not conservative with the stuff, I'm soaking it down rather good. Then after the application I let it sit int he hot sun for a while and then later wipe it down for a final time with a clean rag.

I wash the top with car wash soap and a soft bristle brush and let it dry really good before I apply 303 so I know I'm not just applying the 303 over dirt.

If the top is starting to fade, the last thing I would say is you are using too much. I would give it a good cleaning and then get a good soaking coat of 303 on it.

What's the level of UV protection on things like Raggtop and Vinylx?

I can't remember if 303 does, I just know they too claim some degree of UV protection which wasimportant to me.

Back in 2002 I walked into a Wal-Mart in Canada and they had a shelf full of the 16oz spray bottles, and at the time things were cheaper in Canada. I bought up 3-bottles and am still using from the 1st one; so I'll be using 303 for a while...
