I'll be glad to share w/ you my ancient Chinese secret on how to stay thin.
Here's the 1st step:
Each time you finish your grocery shopping, promtly deliver the food to me. I'll consume the calories on your behalf so you can loose weight.

I'm in the same boat as you Steve.
I lost 10-15 pounds moving my ass outta Connecticut (all those stairs and moving boxes), but I've gained it all back...and then some.
Tried to donate blood a couple weeks ago, but they said my blood pressure was too high.
I know that stress probably contributed to the high pressure, but think that my weight also played a factor.
So I've joined a Health club a few blocks from work. Figure I'll work out on some days and avoid the rush hour drive home. I hope to lose 30+ lbs.
Good luck!!

Tom.
I used to be a frequent blood donor and even though I'm on medication, my blood pressure would rise a bit prior to the whole thing. Just a normal reaction. It was never too high to be refused though.
BUT, please be sure to have your blood pressure monitored frequently. If you get consistent high readings, medication may in order.
The closer you get to Vintage age, the more time you spend filling prescriptions.
I hate to tell you that Rick was your age, 35, when he had to start taking medication for blood pressure.
