Steve,
You don't have to give up ALL your favorite food and beverages. Some moderation and a little substitution can work too.
Eat the steak,(the SMALL one at the steak dive) skip the cheese on top, and get a salad instead of fries.
Have beer/alcohol only on the weekends.
Cookies only at meets.
Turkey vs roast beef.
Eat more chicken and not KFC
Skip the rice cakes, they are like eating nothing at all.

I'm with you Steve. My thread ided becuae I fell right off the wagon. I'll try to get back on with you. What are you going to do to exercise?

I plan to start walking when i get home from work... figure i'll start by walking to the end of my road and then every week add a few more steps

I'll jump on board too. I've been meaning reverse my latest trend of packing on weight anyway. I'll have no problem cutting down on those steaks from the Steak Dive. Also I think I'll have a fairly easy time saying goodbye to the scallops there as well.
