So I drove a TL yesterday.......
I was cross shopping the TL last year when I bought my S.....at the time I really like the TL. It is a very nice car, but I've been spoiled by my S.
So here is the question....what 35,000k sedan has the closest match of shift action, handling, engine goodness the the S has? I realize that the is no direct comparison... sedan does not = sportscar, but does this car exsist? G35? Used M3 sedan? any other ideas?
New England......discuss.

Jeff, I don't think you will find an M3 sedan prior to '99 model year, so you would be looking at the older style car. Infinity is also a rear wheel drive car, from what I know the all wheel drive version was introduced later on (04-05?). The TL is worth all the money.

BMW E46 or E90 330. IS350, too. Can't think of any other sedan that comes close. New car bug, eh?
As far as new car bug.......I'm always thinking, who around here doesn't?

Jeff, I'm in the same market you are..
I'm going with the 06 E46 M3 competition edition. It's 2 Doors, but with a 3.63 diff swap and a Rogue SSK, it's just a sweet sweet song...

too expensive but I'd like to have the 545i.
New Maxima is alright but I wouldn't buy Nissan or Mazda.
Avalon is silky smooth.
Audi A6 isn't too sexy but good ride.
There's always the Volvo..I forget what it's called but the fast one.
And there's that Lincoln LS that's been given good ratings.
