So... did anyone get any bargain deal at CC?
I went to get something at BestBuy yesterday so I figured I'd stop by at Circuit City to see if they might have what I was looking for at a liquidation price. I was shocked they'd closed their doors already. Normally liquidation lasts for months and there aren't really any good deals until toward the end, if any at all.
Just wondering if anyone picked up anything worth mentioning.

Never even went into the place. They were not a favorite of ours.....poor customer service in our shopping experience when buying my first computer, and again down the line( sorry Fitzy). Still sorry to see any place go out of business.

Tv prices were horrible, you could do better at Amazon.
I did pick up a copy of NCAA Football 09 for $25. I also wanted a stand for my TV but their furnature prices sucked too. They say 50% off but its a starting point they would have never sold it for to begin with.
Many people dont know any better and think they got a good deal. My brother in law bought a laptop there. He was SO happy about the deal he got I didnt have the heart to tell him he overpaid by about $200.

I went there Friday.....nothing left but a few scraps and a ton of Automobile Audio install stuff for 90% off and fixtures.
I have a feeling they consolidated inventory that was new/boxed and worth more than $x.....

My trip to CC to see what they had was a total waste of time and gasoline. Super high prices (even for non-closeout) and no selection. My wife reminded me that their prices always stunk because I went there all the time when I was shopping for something but somehow I never ended up getting something there. I would always end up at BB or Walmart. It's too bad they closed though. A ton of people are out now

They sucked there so called "sale" prices were not even cheaper than best buys regular prices. not to mention if you do buy something like a tv you take the risk of it not working and your stuck with a broken tv you cant return

I had gone in there looking to get a bag for my camcorder. They had a bunch of crappy ones and they were severely over priced even at "20% off". For the prices they were charging, I could have gotten one made by Coach for cheaper.
