Default so after it's been sitting around for more

i finally installed my invidia exhaust on monday.
me and my cousin tried to take the stock exhaust off at my house but it was impossible, we tried WD-40, we tried heating up the bolt to take it off, but nothing would work.
so on monday i took the car up to N.H. to my cousin's shop to install the exhaust, he did most of the work, actually he did all of the work and thanks to him i now have my invidia on.

at first when i got the exhaust installed i didn't really like it, i thought it was too loud, but the more i drive the car the more i fall in love with the exhaust.

the exhaust sounds really mean and has a nice growl to it, and for some reason when i get past 5500 rpm the exhaust actually quiets down, and the tone of the exhaust changes, and it sounds awesome.

i really love the exhaust, especially when accelerating with the top down , the only thing that i don't really like is the drone on the highway and that it's kind of a cop magnet (i hope i dont get a ticket for it) but other than that it's an amazing exhaust, and i don't thing i could live with out it.

and oh yeah i set off a car alarm at my school today

Welcome to the club.

I had the stock midpipe including the resonator and helmholtz tube welded in to replace the Invidia mid pipe/resonator on mine. It shifted the drone range down by about 1k RPMs so that if you are cruising at or above 4500rpms the drone is gone. that puts you right about 75mph in 6th gear and 65 in 5th if I remember correctly. did not quiet the exhaust at all though or change the tone, just changed the drone.

I recommend it if you don't mind hacking up your OEM exhaust. Should be no big deal because you can always find one cheap later if you need one.

i'll think about thnx , do you drive with your silencers in or out?, i only have one silencer and was wondering if i'll be a good idea to buy silencers to maybe reduce the drone??

The resonator is the muffler looking thing in the mid pipe just after the cat.

The things that go in the tips are silencers. I have mine sitting on a shelf and have never used them. I will probably pop them in for the 14hr ride down to the dragon this fall. Last year I drove down there without them in and I had to use foam ear plugs after a while

I still keep a set of ear plugs in the car for real long drives (1hr +)

Congrats! Don't ya just love it...

I park in an semi-open above ground parking ramp garage. This happens to me virtually every day, regardless if I'm in The Titan (Magnaflow), the CRX-SiR (Borla), or the S2000 (Magnaflow). I would think someday the owner would reset the sensativity level on his car...

I have the Spugen, stainless steel option, oval canisters by Magnaflow, and oval tips.
Cat back system and the OEM cat, and I have a tone of wonderful tones, but nothing I would call a drone.
