Then the donut eating liar, that is quite the line. Kinda takes away from "Yes, sir" or any other polite response to the officer. Did he think he was gonna get off?hehehe

We've never been a big fan of Circuit City. Poor service a long time ago trying to buy a computer. The above pretty much puts it in the same category as Wal-Mart for me. Won't be shopping there. This is another kick in the pants for the "Average Joes."

Yeah, Circuit City is poor. I rarely go there for much.

Steve, how do you feel about communism? Everyone gets a fair share, no more no less.

I think alot of companies are re-evaluating what level of skill set they need to hire, or keep to fill a certain need. if your position is one that only has a limited need for skill be it techical knowledge, interpersonal skill, creative thought, you will ALWAYS hit a pay/ benefits ceiling because someone else will do it for that amount. Companies plan for this and if they like you for a certain position give small steady raises so you don't hit that ceiling too fast, it seems counter intuitive but people will always absorb any increase in pay into their cost of living choices in less than 6 months and be looking for more so if the want to keep you for more than five years they better plan accordingly. you eather have to threaten to leave (and be prepared to) or find a job within the company in a different pay/ skill class (hopefully with an expected opening) and groom yourself for it. Do the job you want not the job you have.

CC, although Im not a fan, has simply reclassified it workforce needs to a lower grade of employee. when was the last time anyone went into CC and believed any of the crap the sales force wants to feed you? a significant portion of us do independant research before ever walking into a store, so why pay for an emplayee who can feed a good line of crap if it doesn't boost sales and actually turns many customers off.

don't get me started on the ideals of communism. although back home in vermont many relatively small groups do quite well with the concepts of equal share of work and benefit, it never works on a large scale because A PERSON may be honest, dedicated and hard working, PEOPLE are selfish and lazy.
