They live in Texas. I'm actually surprised her language is so mild, being a shiet kicking redneck and all.

My niece was a 911 call taker/dispatcher. She got a call one day. Some of you have heard about this one:

My niece: "911, what's your emergency?"
Woman on other end "Kim, does your husband Tony like meatloaf? I was going to make a meatloaf for supper."

M niece: "Memere??" (her grandmother/my mother) "YOU called the 911 line"
My mother: OH SHEIT! And she hangs up the phone.

My niece played that tape back for the officers and the chief of the small town she was working for. They got a good laugh over that one. You would not believe the
calls they get from people on the 911 line. Like" Where's the closest Burker King."

Say that Zoe called and she needs you home - there is an emergency. So questionable looking person is trying to park a mobile home/trailer on the side of your property and he plans on using your kitchen & shower - aka George!

Ok, this is a great teaching opportunity. You know how a number of you like to complain about how there are some people who make a lot more money than you make? Well, the one way to make a lot more money...maybe even as much as those rich republican bastards you hate...is to work real hard while you are at your job. Oh, you'd be surprised how much more money you can make if you work hard. Owners and bosses actually notice that sort of thing. They give raises and promotions and all sorts of incentives to keep you working. And if they don't, you'll find that a lot of other owners and bosses are just delighted to hire you when they hear about how hard your work. And if no one wants to pay you what you are worth, you can start your own business. Yup, it's true. People who work real hard can do very well starting their own business and working for themselves.

Now, if you don't want to work hard, well, that's fine. But you will probably find that you are not making as much money as the people who work hard all the time. Yup, some people work real hard, even on Friday. I hope that helps.

Bill, I think you have been working too hard.

Perhaps a pancake with some meat on it would help?
No. I work too hard to eat that.

Couldn't agree more. Thankfully, I've worked long enough and hard enough to reap the benefit of enjoying the occasional long jaunt out of the office. I'm encouraged to do it. Happy employees are highly productive and loyal ones.
