7-8 bars of heat? Please tell me the '04 is different than the '00-'03?? I have never seen over 3 bars on my '02.

I hate to say it (well really I don't).

I put Mobil Super+ in the tank two days ago and not even a hint of hesitation since. Cold weather, warm weather or whatever. I either got bad gas from that specific Shell station or Shell gas is specifically bad.

Either way, I will not buy gas from that station again.

i have had the same problem with that shell crap my car never did that till i started useing it sometimes to much of a good thing is bad but just put in some dry gas and it will get better. If it's not the gas causing the hesitation it will be any moistre that is in the tank

Was there a gas truck there filling the tanks? When those things pump new gas in it stirs up gunk in the bottom of the tank and makes for some really bad gas till it settles out.

I've used the Shell "V-Power" and not noticed an impact.

I've used all kinds of gas from Hess, to Mobil to Exxon and Shell. I only use 91 or 93 and never had a problem.

I try to avoid those mom and pop places cause the consitancy/quality isn't there.

It may be just in my head - but I tried a tank of the "V-Power" stuff and the car just didn't "feel right". Of course that was after this thread, so...?

I've been experiencing misfire problems and the problem seems to be more prominent with shell v-power.
I've been swtiching between Sinclair and shell. And for last two tanks of Sinclair, my car never threw a CEl but after a half tank of shell stuff, CEL came back.
I've been wondering perhaps the hesitation or misfire is caused by the junk that cleaning agent in v-power loosened up. Or perhaps not.
