Default September 8th - What is up? NH Drive?

Starting this thread to get it back on track and to find out what is going on. Would someone like to give an update on this event?

Thanks for the idea - laster.

Ok. I started this and promised to provide some additional info. I have not had a chance to pull out my maps from last year's event yet. Please allow me some time to do this. We are definitely on for September 8.

Also, please feel free to make route suggestions.

Just a suggestion, but when the final route is determined, we probably should not post it on here, perhaps just email those interested in attending the meet, to avoid possible advance public notification of our, no doubt, spirited driving

I have a guy coming with us from that area, and he can plan out a route as he volunteered for it. Let me know and I will let him know.

Maybe we could go up Mt Washington? Is there any interest in this? I will look into that if it fits into the plan? There are some funny rules about groups of vehicles going up according to a friend of mine. I will call and get the info from them direct though.

I say if we have a volunteer from the area who would like to do us the favor of planning a route - go for it. Anyone one else have any thought on this?

Rowland, Mt. Washington would be cool (maybe even cold ) but remember that it is in the clouds much of the time so we need to plan an alternative if the weather doesn't cooperate.

quicksi, since this is John's idea I suggest that you put your friend in touch with him. i expect the assistance of someone with local knowledge would be appreciated.

Sorry guys but I cannot make it September 8th. If you all want to still rally in that day that would be great. The earliest I can do it is October 13. Actually, we have a much better chance of enjoying some great foliage then as well.

Please let me know how October 13 works for you.

Thanks,
John

Well it's a Saturday, but... maybe, Rowland. Maybe I can make it.
Drop me an Email in a couple weeks to remind me.

Chances are good we can make it for Oct. 13. Is that Columbus Day Weekend?
