Default Selling advice

Anyone have experience with selling cars through Autotrader? Is it worth the $ to use them verses say, Craigslist?
I was going to wait for Spring, and hope I won the lottery or something but I need to see if there is interest at all this time of year.
I dont want to waste $ if Im not likely to sell it in the fall.

Opinions or advice?

no harm in throwing an ad on craigslist and see if you get any nibbles.

Autotrader -

with Craigslist you'll get people that aren't remotely serious and tons of scams

Tried selling an ATV on Autotrader and Bargain News - paid $ and no luck.

Put ad on CL - sold within 1 week.

My friend sold his last couple cars through CL. A lot more people interested from there then autotrader or bargain news. Its free so it wont hurt to try.

just use a new e-mail address for your ad and you are going to get the "i will send western union" crap - just ignore them

if i had the $$ i'd be all over your car - low miles and no real mods

good luck mike

I guess I will throw it out on Craigslist and see if I get any bites. I will be hoping to sell and not sell at the same time.
I will probably
