i think FL is still cheap compaired to NE prices

when Lainey says a 2/3 bedroom she means 1100-1300 sq feet

300 - 350 which is crazy!!

heck the house i bough cost 5k to build - and it sold for almost 70 times that amount

Our house is less than 1200 sq ft., and our lot is small. As long as you are not too near the ocean I'm sure you can get a 1200 sq ft. house in FL for less than 300K.

This is the city next to mine

http://coldwellbanker.com/servlet/Property...2&page=property

Thats a condo, about 20 miles from beach.

You can not touch a house for less than that. Especially around here.

Now, where I am moving to, that house is $75k on 2 acres, but you have to remember that its in the middle of BFE, and has no subdivisions nor population boom around.

I guarantee once it starts getting populated price costs will sky rocket.

Hell my aunts house justgot appraised today, 900k for a 3 bedroom 2 bath with a pool on small lot.... screw that

We have a countertop!

Tomorrow he will tile the backsplash. We should see the plumber and electrician next week!

We have paint, we have a faucet, a backsplash, a dishwasher, a stove and most of the lighting.

A bit more paint, and a bit more of this and that and it will be done! It will probably be next week before we are totally back in there as we need to clean it up a bit, but we won't be camped in the living room much longer.

Nice Faucet! I put in the same one when I redid my kitchen last year.

Can't wait to get started on my siding.

I'll be glad when it's over and I stop spending money.

I swear I was ready to have an anxiety attack today. I never spent that much money per hour over the course of a day.

When I came home, there were still two plumbers, two painters and an electrician working.

We're done with home improvement projects for a while.................though there is that deck that needs replacing.
