"red" flooring is Brazilian Cherry. I have that in the living room area, the entrance way and down the hall in the house.
Kitchen is Birch.
Both are hardwood, 3/4" stuff.
Cherry is 4 1/4" wide, Birch is 5 1/4" wide.
Going to paint, and someday put in new cabinets.
I took these last year when i put the cherry in...

DO all the houses up there look like your guys?

Heck im moving from florida

If anyone wants to see the houses they call houses down here, look up weston or parkland florida. Talk about people too rich for their own good....

We've got all kinds of houses up here. Your "starter" homes, and on up to McMansions.

My 3 bedroom ranch is what some may consider a "starter home." The problem is that the price of housing in our area is crazy. We've been in our "starter home" for 20+ years. These days, 300K for a three bedroom ranch on a small lot is not unheard of.

mcmansions LOL.

wow but 300k is not bad. You cant touch a nice 2 bedroom in my area for 400k. Heck my gmas old house was bought for 67k 30 years ago, sold for 750 last year.... It was a 3/2
