What an awesome day to be out golfing.
Although is is 50 degrees, the sun is still warm and not a cloud in a crystal clear pale blue sky.

Would have gotten an extra 2 1/2 hours of sleep.
What a waste of time.

yeah, Either him or Byrd if they are on the roster would be a better option than beckett at this point. He is no question a great pitcher, but he is just not right this year. It is what is is and they need to adapt to that.

I think Wakefield is scheduled for a start. These 2 teams are very evenly matched. Last nights game regarless of the outcome showed that. A hard fought battle all the way. Why Francona did not let Pap back out to start the inning has me baffled though. The one out that Paps could have gotten would have made a big difference in the game. Also I think the home plate umpire was going blind after 1 am he really messed up some strike calls calling them balls. Regardless I hope the rest of the games are not as long come on 1:39am when the rays finally won it. Thats ridiculous, all the TV cameras were showing at that point were sleeping people.

If the Rays end up winning, I will be disappointed for the Sox, but I will still root for the Rays in the series. I think it's great what Maddon has done with that team and seeing them go from a bunch of bums last year to win the pennant is great.
