Your download speed : 1381916 bps, or 1349 kbps.
A 168.6 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 366000 bps, or 357 kbps.
Jeff i use http://www.dslreports.com/stest
there are ways to tweak cable but dsl is pretty much non-tweakable

Every cable modem I've been on seems to download at about T1 speeds (1.544Mbps and more or less in line with Bass'). It's always been more than enough for me. That's saying quite a lot, I ask insane amounts of it at times in terms of download speed and latency. The only caveat I've run across is the upload stream. It's capped by comcast at 32kbs up.

my bro paid to have the 5 miles of copper run to his house, cause he couldnt get cable or dsl where he lives in the stix of southern VT.
ok so it's a small side business as he is the town's wireless ISP. but it is enertaining to be that connected out in the middle of nowhere.

I think VTEL just kicked in!! That looks to me like a test using data pulled from the Calix or Alcatel DSLAM. The real-world performance will no doubt be lower than 16mbps in most cases, but downloading from a site like yahoo should be around 1.5megabytes per second........Justin u suck.

BTW, does one of those Cable or DSL setup work with Compaq Paserio 9800 series (I bought it back in 2000)?
