RAH RAH! Mini Side Swipe by lady driver
So i was stopped waiting to ull out of a parking lot and some lady is turning in and swings it too wide and clips my rear bumper with her front corner bumper in her 199X Saturn sedan.
To top it off the lady doesnt notice it and starts driving through the parking lot to park. I whip it in reverse and am following her across the parking lot for a couple hundred feet till she stops. I get out and tell her she just hit me. Shes like "your kidding i didnt do that" and i told her to get out and look at and her and my car. She wouldnt so i told her well drive around the other side and look. She did and said. "where, i dont see anything." i walk over and point at the HUGE GREENT marks and say. "Well my car is black, yours is green and these large green and yellow marks came from somewhere." Now she gets out and looks and she has slight damager to her front also.
So then form there we do the information thing and she is totally out of it and has no idea what is going on.
Insurance claim already in full swing. At my first guess and guess from the shop doing the work it will be a respray with some very minor repair to fix a couple small gouges. New rear bumper is a long shot.
All in all the damage is minimal if i was to clean it and buff it out there would be some pretty big scratches and a couple gouges but its not something im trying to pay out of my pocket.
Just as we are about to leave she has the nerve to say "So your actually gonna use your $500 deductible on that?" I laughed and said "No, definitely not. its going to be your $500 deductible that covers that." then told her to have a good night and went off to re meet my friends at the bar.
CN: Got slight damage to rear bumper, lady was very dumb, insurance. pictures below.

Not trying to be a jerk, but I'd have called the cops. I've seen too many people that do something like that and continue to think they didn't do anything wrong. You have to confront them and it still takes a full 60 seconds for them to wake up to reality.
That's the kinda thing that scares the crap out of me when I'm anywhere near the road. People actually hit things and don't know it... and sometimes it's people.
