On the other hand, I have called 2 places in the central Conn area to have them installed, and they both quoted me 4 hours labor plus alignment--over $400 for everything.
Keep in mind, part of that price is to do the 4-wheel alignment. You cannot do the alignment yourself, and it must get done after the springs are installed because just lowering the car will effect the settings. You do not want to drive the car very much after the springs are in and before the alignment, or at least, that's how I would treat my car.

You might want to ask those places how much of the $400 is the alignment to get aa true reading on how much to change the spriongs, because as I recall, my alignments are ususlly a tad costly.

One of the places (XX Tuning in East Hartford) told me it was one hour of labor for each corner of the car, at $90 an hour. Their alignment was $79, so that put it over $400. They have quite a place, but he confessed they had never worked on an S2000.

I'll know more when he gets back to me again. Sundays are usually good for me too, except this one as well.

I had Billman install mine. It didn't take close to 4 hrs, not even half that time but he's knows his stuff. Folks have told you not to undo the gas line but you should also be very aware of how the top hat bolts are aligned or they won't slide back into place in the car. No spring compressors are needed but are a safety precaution for sure. I and many with Eibachs did not need an alignment post install, of course this all depends on the alignment in the first place. Good luck! Hiro

I've done spring installs on a couple other vehicles and haven't needed a spring compressor.
