Default Price of oil and gas

Have you noticed the price of gasoline and heating oil? It's on the rise again.

Local station is now $3.03 for regular and $3.29 for premium.

Heating oil is up from around $2.67 in October to $2.83 in our area. I know some of you to the north of us have even higher prices for home heating oil.

Nice timing for folks to have more expenses with the holiday season here and cold weather making it's appearance as well.

Sooooooo glad we were able to switch to natural gas for heat. That new heating system will pay for itself in a few seasons.

I heat with natural gas and I think my bill is always too much. Gas prices are killing me. I'm driving the S as much as I can since it gets better gas mileage than the Highlander. Heats up quicker too! Much smaller cabin space. More fun to drive is really the reason

As the season goes on, I'll let you know how it compares to what we would spend for oil. I'm sure I'll do better with the gas.

Natural gas for the house for me, got on a payment plan a while back so we pay the same every month so we dont get crazy bills in the winter months. But I do hate filling up my truck lately.

Yeah, when we got the new heating system, I asked them to bump up my budget amount to hopefully cover the heating costs. We'll see how good my estimate was....

Everything goes in cycles, natural gas was exorbitantly expensive a few years back and I assume it will be the same again in another few years. You may win the game short term but long term it always bites one in the behind.

We'll see.

I don't foresee oil ever being cheaper than natural gas. Those days are gone!
