I've been running with SCDA if I want to drive the S2000. It's too much trouble with the other groups... Too bad I was away in Singapore this last week. And by the next SCDA event on June 6, I'll probably be in Seattle...

$ for $ SCDA rocks. Oh PLEASE!!! A one day event @ NHIS w/SCDA costs $235. A TWO day event (driving school, time trial) w/COM costs $280 total for both days!
SCDA is 235$ for 2 HOURS of track time.
SCDA is also much more laid back than COM.
Also, most insurance companies will cover you at "Driver Education Events" but will exclude anything that is timed...an issue for lots of us.

If you just take a COM school you get around 2 hrs of track time for only $180. Weekend dates @ NHIS save vacation days for Watkins Glen, Mosport, Summit Point, Mt. Tremblant and the new Callaboggie track. Plus COM does a free sit down dinner after the school is over.

The COM Sports Car Club started out 47 years ago as Corvettes Of Mass. Now open to all makes, but rollbars required in all convertibles. Hardtop negates that rule. Go to 'www.comscc.org/ ' to get more info. I hope to be @ the June SCDA event as Elda Engineering dropped the ball on S2000 rollbars.
