Please Help.>.Rear Glass window replacement
wow,its been a lil while since I posted here..but I trust you guys can help me out on something....To cut a long story short,I almost got carjacked by this idiot (tried punching me too.).and I dont know how he punched the top of the car or the glass itself while I peeled away but it completely broke (rear window)..so while Im prepared to go out and "take care of" this punk that did it,I still got some questions im curious about.
Do the 02+ rear windows get changed or is it the whole top transplant??.and does insurance cover that regularly(like window replacement) or am I going to have to deal with a 'collision' type deal and have deductable??I cert. hope not..
also, any good S2000 experienced glass places ya'll know of,would help..thanks in advance so much guys.
(goddamnnn im gona take care of this idiot.what ballz.its someone I KNOW too!.hes Done)

I don't know for certain - but my personal opinion would be:
#1 - This may be covered under your insurance...but I would get a police report filed?
#2 - I believe the window can be replaced seperate from the top. I would go look at the helms manual; however I'm kinda lazy, drunk and warm laying on the couch at the moment and do not want to get up.

I've only had my windshield replace, I have full glass coverage so my insurance covered it all here in NY. Don't know how the insurance works for sure in Mass. Like Justin said, you may need a police report for vandalism.

lol.yup..what nerve huh? (long story,,but he got nervous over an old dispute and probably was all crackedOut when he came up on me).so imagine trying to dodge punches inside a lil S2000.i did it though.and as i rolled window up on his arm,I got a nice deck to his jaw.and hit the gas.i dont know how it happened, but I think he punched the top of the roof somewhere and somehow the rear window like exploded..weird.
but its quite alright..in the next 48 hrs,hes gonna get his for sure (i cant get into detail ,but his day has come.lol)

oh my goodness.why is this happening to me right now...Ok, this guy from Adolph's is like 99% sure that the whole top has to be bought From Honda,,,and takes over 12+ hours labor, yada yada yada.....are u kidding me?..ive got like 20 Diff. responses from people.I dont understand..why in the world would honda make it impossible to replace a broke window(tiny window !) with a whole new top..this cant be right.
Anybody, somebody,,Please .pm me or help me out with any other advice. (glass companies all refer to upholstry shops..then upholstry shops sound nervous about doing the job and have no clue)..this sucks

He doesn't need to swap out the entire top BUT he does have to remove 90% of the interior
