guns don't kill zombies - you need to cut their heads off

"To kill zombies, you need to destroy their brains. The most surefire route is simply lopping off the cranium with a chainsaw, machete, or samurai sword"

just in case... here's a good website

Hmmm... I don't have any of those things. Do you think a weed whacker would work? If so, how will I sleep while keeping it under my pillow?

Personally, I'd go with the explosion method. :rocket:

[QUOTE=elmmx5,Aug 31 2007, 01:01 PM] So far I haven't needed a weapon to protect myself from the dead hooker in my crawlspace but you never know... she could become a zombie.

I am debating on the purchase of a tazor and curious if anyone has any knowledge on this? I did some research and here is teh one that seems best for what I want. If you have ant data that would be great. purpose would be for general protection..... don't feel comfortable with hand guns in the house but this I feel a little more comfortable with...... thoughts?

I know its not a car question but value the input of people on this forum....

:All (well most) good points and let me cover a few things:

Don't need to live in a bad area to run across someone that wants your wallet, car, kid or other..... loonies all over the place. Some of the most affluent areas around you see some of the most horrible crimes.

Next, I would buy a 9mm but wife says NO way, and she is to scared to shoot a gun, the Tazor she reviewed and thought she could feel much more comfortable using if ever needed....

yes if 5 guys break in my house I am screwed..... but if one guy breaks in my house (or what ever) at least I have a much better shot at defense with tazor then without.... or if two people I had to defend against at least I could incapacitate one and they physically beat the hell out of the other..... two on one sucks but one on one after 1 has been incapacitate there is a much better shot IMO.

Of course there will be scenarios where a machine gun or hangrenade could work better then a tazer but still would think a tazer vs no tazor would still increase your chances of being able to defend, flee or what ever then bare hands.... a gun in not an option sorry although I grew up with them my wife just doesn't want it....I need to respect that.

I am not looking for the tazor to save my life if I fall from a cliffe or get stampeded by an angry mob, but am looking for some piece of device that can add another layer of protection for my and my family. I know there are times where a tazor would be useless but also can think of 100+ where it could really be a huge asset in a certain conflict......

Many are apprehentious of owning or being around handgun but they can be quite safe with the proper training. Not to mention way more affective given the situation you need. CT allows you to protect your family in your home without retreat.
Besides, target shooting at a range is a good wholesome activity. I enjoy heading out with some friends to blow off some rounds as much as I like driving the S in groups.
If you're considering self protection, get a firearm before it gets exceedingly difficult with more and more new laws on the books.
