NES2kO website is up!
The sitename www.nes2ko.com was registered late last week, and I quickly put a website up as a placeholder. Yes, it sucks at the moment, but it at least tells people doing a search that we exist. Look for changes to be made over the next couple of weeks, and I'll try and keep you posted on major events.

I needed a pic to fill the spot, and the only one handy was that one which came off of my webpage (originally from Honda's webpage). I have a few ideas as to which pics to include on the main page (a la Francis's camera), but right now those things are just placeholders. I'm showing Glenn each page as I create it, but it takes time to create, and since we really don't have a webserver of our own yet, you guys don't get to see them.
Have patience, that's all I ask. And please, send along any and all suggestions...I may be creating the pages, but this is YOUR board, so the more people we have making suggestions, the better it's going to be.

Just letting people know what's upcoming
All,
Here are some of the ideas being toyed with...
1) A Member's Information area - Will hold personal data (Address, phone #s, age, etc., personal webpages), plus any pics of your vehicle you would like to submit. Since this information is generally regarded as "personal", it will require a password to access (available only to OWNERS).
2) Calender - Events, meets, etc. in the NE area
3) FAQs - I know, s2ki has a FAQ site, but they don't have everything. I would like scans of every TSB available, information more specific to the NE area (such as winterizing), and detailed instructions on all kinds of modifications done by fellow members.
4) Discount Counter - Regional retailers in the NE area that are willing to offer a discount to Member's, in addition to those retailers already on s2ki. This will hopefully include autobody repair, garages, tuning, and audio shops.
5) Damn, I just forgot the 5th thing...I'll think of it as soon as I hit the "submit" button, too...

Glenn and I had lunch today, along with a couple of beers (useful design fluids)...
We threw some ideas back and forth, and came up with several pages of ideas for the website. I'm not going to give it away as I'd like to keep a few things secret until they're unveiled, but if things go right, be on the lookout for a SCHWEET entrance to the site A few things were decided upon for current and future additions to the page, but we're still in flux as far as layout for the main page and border goes.
