Well, a little bird... umm... actually it was a big bird
... told me yesterday that it is someone's birthday today....
I want to wish Dana (NES2KO's Meets and Events Coordinator) a very Happy Birthday!
And yes Dana... I did spare you of a little embarrassment last night at dinner. I really wanted to see the talking Moose wish you a Happy Birthday!

And I am glad you are in good spirits!....I wouldnt call what I plan on doing day trading since I am planning to make only one trade every week or two, not numerous trades during one day. My guess, and no one really knows, is that the market will pick up by the end of the year....but, even if it doesnt, with the kinds of swings I will be looking for in a stock, it doesnt matter so much whether or not the market does pick up then or not (although it would be easier if it did
) Anyways, bear markets typically dont last more than 12 months, so things should theoretically start to once again turn around on the upside....besides, at the current prices of some of these companies, it's getting too hard to not invest since I know I will never be able to buy at the bottom. If you can find companies trading at their book value, the risk is a lot less than what some of these stock prices had previously been pushed up to. But who knows, same time next year I could be looking for a real job, and in the mean time, I know I will be having fun driving around with the rest of you guys
