My first New England winter...

Thomas kept his wheels so clean, you could use them as dinner plates. Please buy these wheels, or Bass might do just that at the pirate party, if he runs out of dishes.

Bass,
I'm very interested in the wheels. Are they AP1 OEM size?
One last question...will using 16" AP1 wheels and tires on my AP2 throw off the speedo and gear ratios, or do the tires have the same circumference despite the smaller rim size?

I just picked up a set of Dunlop Wintersport M3's last weekend at Sullivan Tire new BU. (Comm Ave) They stored my summer tires for free. I think they charged me $800 for everything (tires, installation, balancing), which I think is a good deal. I just had them install the tires in my OEM wheels (MY07). I also live in the city and a sales rep from tire rack recommended these tires. So far the handling has been great on this week's temperature.

Paul,
This will be my 7th winter with the s2k. Snows are a must. I have used Dunlop graspic? for teh last few and they work quite well. I will drive the S in less than 3 inches of snow, much more than that and the snow builds up and hits the bottom of the car.
The S is actually quite alot of fun to drive in the snow. Short shifting keeps it straight, 5k brings the rears into play...Vtec melts the rears and finds trees, so stay off it.
Best advice, use common sense. If the weather sucks, park the S and get some rum.
