So lately I've been considering moving out of Western Mass and closer to the Boston area. The stress of finding another job in that area is the only thing holding me back though. Not to mention my girlfriend is currently the assistant director of Res Life here at Mount Holyoke College and we get free housing. I'm just not happy living here anymore. 27 years of this area has just worn me down. Should I just suck it up and deal or give up a great situation here for self happiness? Thoughts?
Is it your current job or Holyoke that you are unhappy with?
You can be in a great place but miserable too.....so think it carefully

I'm familiar with both areas, currently live in Canton right outside of Boston w/LegalBill, and I can completely understand why you are fed up with that area because I lived in Springfield for 4 years. The Northampton area makes you enjoy living in Western Mass but once you leave its just bland, especially living in Holyoke. After I moved back to the Boston area I can say I missed the ability to get somewhere in 15 minutes, cause driving in Boston can be a pain at times.
