Thumbs down Mohawk Drive caravaning

Anyone interested in meeting up on Sunday morning and caravaning over to
the Mohawk drive together?

Looks like we have Grove, Fitzy, Kenta, Dave and 2000silvers2k coming from
the Maine/NH/Northern Mass. area. Anyone else in that vicinity that is going on
the drive is welcome to meet up with us!

According to the original thread, we are meeting in Deerfield starting at 10:00
and rolling out at 11:00.

I say we should plan on gathering for the caravan so that we arrive at 10, that
way, if we have to wait for anyone, we will still be there when the group rolls
out at 11:00.

Based on the map I looked at, I assume we will be going Route 3 to 495 to
Route 2. Would the rest area on 495 right after you get off Route 3 be a good
place to meet?

If that's a good place, according to Google Maps it will take 90 minutes to get
to Deerfield from there so I propose we meet there at 8:30.

Let's talk about it!

Yeah I remember that but why drive that far before we meet, let's meet
up sooner and I think that rest area is a good central location for everyone.

I can meet up at the rest stop. But believe me, you wouldn't want to drive up with me

I usually go right through Pepperell, which is slow and takes the same amount of time but it's only about 20 mi instead of 40.

I can meet at the rest stop but only around 9am, that gets me leaving here at 6:45am or so.

Leaving the rest stop around 9 will get us to the drive meet point in the area of 10:30 which is plenty sufficient.

Sounds good to me, Dave. 9:00 at the rest area.

Kenta, if you decide not to go through Pepperell we could meet up at 8:45 on exit 1 and go from there if you want.
