I get the, Wow nice BMW comments alot. When I tell them its a Honda, they comment Oh, like the Del Sol? Puuuulleeeeze.

But being mistaken for a Bimmer or a Porsche, take it as a complement. They are remarking on the beauty of the car. It is a head turner, and it is still pretty rare which adds to its mystique and exotic nature.

I had this happen leaving Lime Rock, by young guys who should know better! I've evenhad some kids think it was a Viper. No insult offered; no offence taken.

Can't say I've ever had my S mistaken for another car, but many a time I've had people ask "what the heck is that?". It happens more often now that I've got Rick's S badges front and rear, and have removed the S2000 badging from the front fenders. Even had one guy comment on my "S2000" license plate, then ask what kind of car it was. DUH!

People just ask me "what kind of car is that." I never heard anyone call it a Porsche. Anyone who does knows nothing about Porsches. the S does not resemble any Porsche.

There was this one time my car was mistaken for a BMW (Z4). I was offended b/c those things are fugly!

I thought it was funny. No one ever has a clue what my 80 Prelude is - even other Prelude owners - I wave to all of them! Even saw one guy in a 2nd gen Lude but even he didn't wave back Maybe people just don't like me?

I think it was on the Wine Drive of 05. We all pulled in to a gas station. I overheard a woman say "Look at all the Porsches". We got a chuckle out of it. Obviously, she is NOT into cars.
