When we went to the Dragon last year we drove through Pigeon Forge, TN (I think
it was Tennessee). There's some touristy-type stuff to do there.
Speaking of tires, it was raining last night after work and I went to take
a right hand turn and with my bald tires and a little too much throttle,
I did a 360 in the middle of the intersection.

Metro is planning on rolling out on the Wed prior. Stop overnight in Virginia, and make it into Fortana on Thurs. Head home Sun, staying overnight in VA again and arriving home Mon.
2 full days on the Dragon (and area roads)!
Christine and I are in for this.

I hope to make it again next year myself.
For those that have never done it, yeah, it's a long drive but once you
experience that road for the first time, any thoughts of how long the
drive was vanish, because you've just died and gone to S2000 heaven.
The fact that many people go year after year should also speak to
what the experience is like. You have to try it at least ONCE in your S!
