This is like having your weekly Meets, FOUR days long.

I don't know what I enjoyed more, the convoy there and back or the drive through the Dragon. Definitely worth the trip, folks!

im still not convinced driving one road is worth driving 16 hours to get to, although it does look sweet
Well, there is a lot more than 1 road. I did over 500 miles that weekend in the area and only 75 or so of that was on the Dragon itself.

I saw the topic and thought this thread would be about the best place to get your eyebrows groomed in NE, or maybe which towns have the nicest gyms. Boo.

Blue Ridge parkway and other roads inthe area are all supposed to be amazing. I have a friend at work who has done a couple of motorcycle trips down there and he says he prefers the other roads in the area.

If we take a couple of days to drive down, then this will be perfect. I'm not really interested in a one day shot.

Gorgeous area down there, Chris trust me if you wanna just kick back its a great area for vaca. Go see some of the lesser known sites and just enjoy the area. Ruby Falls is an attraction in the general area.

Blue ridge parkway is several hours away in Virginia and I think thats where we each got speeding tickets last time

There are other cool roads everywhere, but only one dragon. It is hard to explain. If you are making the trip for scenic roads, I recommend staying up here and cruising the mohawk or something to save time. The dragon is very different and well worth the trip.

Hmmm, I'll probably need new rear tires for this trip.
