see if you could get the car for a few hours - drive up to Manchester and have Scott look at the car - I am sure he will charge his hourly rate


there are a handful of guys in the new england forum that really know the S2000 inside and out and Scott is clearly one of them

people drive from all over to have scott fix, look at, eveuate their cars

Then go to Bernadi Honda- BUT i will say that they won't look at the car 1/2 as good as Scott and they charge 90 an hour

good luck but please know that many people do not know the S2000 - they may say "i've seen hundreds of them but " not many people truely know the S - also ask the owner if he/she has all the TSBs done - ie spark plugs, clutch, etc etc

Any good mechanics out where I am? The owner is in North Attleboro, and I'm in Framingham. Anyways, I booked Lumber Street Auto, Boch Honda is also a possibility.

Honestly i don't know why the owner wouldn't give you the car for a few hours heck i gave my 04 to a guy in Chicago for a few days

One of the mechanics/service guys at Ragsdale Honda in Westboro on Rt 9 has an S2000. I think his name is Twan? I met him at John's tech day this spring, and the sales guy there mentioned him and his S when I was buying a CRV for the wife recently.

It's a lot cleaner than that one I looked at Bernardi yesterday, and a lot better than the '01 I have been looking at. $16k for 34k miles. Carfax shows accident with possible frame damage. Had body shop and mechanic in Natick (Luu Auto Service) look at car. They said there was minimal damage on car. Anyways, that's in another thread in one of the main forums.
