I'm getting ready to abandon the Blackberry line. My new BB phone is pretty crappy compared to i-phone and Droid.

while not an app, per se I do love my motorokr hd-s9 Bluetooth stereo headphones.
they work awesome with the MP3 player in the droid and they have built in microphone and dialing controls for use on phone calls.
So here's is the $64,000 question, are headphones legal in mass while your driving?
they're especially great in the S2000 since you can actually hear the music.
although still no good for a phone conversation with the top down.

I love my Nexus One... and now that I have a car dock for it, it's better than a Garmin, too.
Apps I like :
• Chrome to Phone (I have the FireFox add-on for it) Click the button, and 1 second later, the web page you were viewing on your computer is up on your phone!
• Google SkyMap. It's just cool. (And not available on iOS...)
• EStrong's File Manager (Easy to delete/move/rename files, but also is able to grab network shared files through WiFi. So I can change out my MP3s without even plugging the phone in, though it's slower)
• Adobe PhotoShop Express
• Meridian Media Player (I like the interface, no buttons necessary)
• RockPlayer Media Player - Plays DivX movies natively (I have a large collection of those)
• BlueTooth File Transfer. I now have co workers with Android phones, and if we both have the app, we can share music over BlueTooth.

Steve, besides the ones I emailed to you, I also use ADW launcher in place of the stock launcher. I went as far as uninstalling the stock launcher on mine because ADW was so much better/faster.
The new google voice command is out of this world. I suggest finding some videos on youtube that show it's features because it does so much.
Tasker is unreal when it comes to possibilities.
I forget which phone you got, but see if there is a development scene for it. If so, I suggest rooting it and getting ready for a custom ROM as soon as Gingerbread drops sometime in the next few months. Otherwise unless you have an N1 like CTMech, you will have to wait for the release on your platform which could be a while. I plan on having some Gingerbread as soon as google drops it or sooner. Plus, maybe your phone is overclockable.
