Default LED Windscreen

Is McGuyver still on the boards??? If so, can I still get an LED Windscreen?

Steve,

It's been such a long time, how do I find the list of S2KI members so I can PM Dan?

IMO: It's probably one of the most unique and wonderfully pleasing mods you can have done to you "S"!

What it is: You take your original windscreen and send it off to MacGuyver and he pulls it in half and adds a slew of LEDs in the black plastic part below the clear screen. Then he adds a nicely done modifiable black box. When you get it back it still looks completely stock except for a wire hanging out the bottom of the screen. Then you simply wire it into your car and you have the option of lighting your screen up any color of the rainbow and when you hit your brakes it automatically lights up red and when the car is put in reverse it lights up bright white. To make it even better you can etch or add an "etched vinyl" decal to the windscreen and that lights make it show up even better. Let me see if I can find my old post I put up when I wired my old one in my old car. You'll see first hand! Pretty sweet!

Okay here some pics of mine after I had it installed I apologize for the blur of my camera.

I chose yellow as my primary color being that my car was Rio yellow. I eventually went to purple.

Another view of the yellow! I also had Decal Girl make me up an "etched Glass" decal so that's why it says "S Roadster"

This is what it looks like when you hit the brakes.

This is what it looks like when you put the car in reverse. My camera made it look kind of purple, but it's actually bright white.
