Layoffs of some scope are expected sometime early in the new year. The rumor mill is working OT so there is no real idea of how large or small, and what areas it will be.
Just gives you the warm and fuzzies heading into the holiday season.

We let go of 10% of our workforce back in March which was scary. Especially being the new guy here for not even 6 months. Business is good for us now and we've actually hired two new people in the past 2 months and interviewed another person today.
