Looks alot better than the traditional n1 style invidia mufflers.

Stock is best, but this exhaust looks kinda stock, so it gets my halfhearted approval.

I like the shiny cans on the berlina seems to just "work". Still getting used it, but thanks for all the props guys.

Erick: you can't talk about "stock" anymore

It drones a little, but there are "sweet spots" where the car almost sound stock again. Like cruising around 2700 rpm it seems pretty quiet then I noticed when I got up into the 70mph range it wasn't much louder than stock. Next time we're at a meet your welcome to take the car for a spin and judge for yourself
if anything you will have to take me for a spin

Nice Exhaust, didn't know Invidia had the oval style mufflers. I bet they are a big difference in sound compared to the round canister ones.

I also got a kick of how you seemed to be possing for the camera while under the car.

Good luck with the exhaust!

Bored, so here's a one month review of the Q300:

- Sometimes the exhaust is noticeably louder on some days and super quiet on others. Not sure if this is due to heat, but I think it's much louder once it warms up. Heard this might be a trait of stainless steel in general. Not sure if that's true.

- Drone on the highway between 3-4k can be really f'ing annoying once the car warms up. Riding to and from VT on the last trip I purposely kept the car at 4k or above just to stay out of the drone range even if that meant down shifting into 5th. Maybe I should just get 4.77's to fix that

- Drivers side rear hanger popped off twice in the last month. Only seems to happen when the car is pushed. A few others have complained about this here on S2ki so I know it's not just me. The rearmost hanger is probably an inch shorter than it should be or it should have had a nub on the end to prevent slippage. If someone is willing to weld a bead around the end of the hanger in trade for beer, let me know. For now I'm going add a ghetto zip tie on the hanger to prevent it from slowly walking off the hanger over time.

Regrets? Not really although the last issue is wicked annoying.

My HKS is the same way. Real quiet after the piping cools down. Then gets noticeable throatier. This is exhaust temp, not car temp because after letting the car sit for 15 mins the engine is warm, however the exhaust piping gets pretty cool.
