I've had worse things hit me this year 
Iv'e got a bruised butt (rear-end) and my exhuast is tweeked alittle, but hoefully it will all be ok, its in the hospital now.

Accidents suck in general, but highway accidents are scary Too. 
How many drivers out there carry road flares in there cars?
If the first guy had them he could have saved four other cars, not to mention injuries which fortunately didn't happen in your case.

Damn Julius, sorry to hear of your run of bad luck. At least you're okay and it sounds like the damage to your S was minimal, compared to what it could've been. So what happened? Did you have "It's raining men" cranked up on the stereo again?

wow April, glad to hear that you're ok. I am going to the doc. today and get myself checked out. i'm also speaking with a lawyer to keep my ass covered.
its funny flares were mentioned because someone else was asking while it was happening. but if you think about it. this woman was in the middle of the road and cars were coming. i would not have run out there in front of her just to put flares in.
